At this point, all of the drums and hardware are finished, except for the hi-hat stand and bass drum pedal. I found some orthographic photos of cymbals and drum heads, so those are now mapped and looking nearly right. The drum finish itself is a bit of challenge to make authentic-looking, and is an ongoing process.
Finishing up...
One of the attributes of these drums, in real life, is that they're very simple. That helps with the 3D model, too. All that remains is to do some tweaking of the exterior finish, to make it look more authentic, and the final bits of hardware.
All the hardware is finished, with the addition of the two foot pedals.
